week8

    In this week we had learn a new concept which call link listed, i don't fully understand what is the mean by link listed, so i did a little bit research. " In computer, a link listed is a data structure consisting a groups of nodes which together reparent a sequence."  under the simplest form, each nodes is composed of a date and a link to the next node in the sequence. i think it's a hard topic. i need to work on writing the LinkList method.
    we only had one lecture this week, because we have test 2 on Wednesday and the test 2 is harder than i expected.

   Our second assignment due this week.  This assignment involved a new game which is called Tippy. We work on group. firstly, we read the take the note about assignment together, and we separate the woke into 3 part, so our member has individual work to do. After every done their own word, and we set together to work on running the program, find the problem and fix it.

   due to the strike, csc148's tutorial has been canceled, we have to do our lab on our work. but write the problem which i was confused, and went to the prof's office and asking the the question. 

Summary of Recursion

   we had learn about recursion  in the past few week. recursion is a tricky content for me. From what i learn about it, i thought that recursion is way of programming or coding a problem and many of recursive functions have itself as code in the function body. Recursion is really useful, when we are going to find the max number form list, and we can use recursion to solve the problem.
   Recursion is not that easy and i still try my best to understand  the concept and try more practice problem.

week5

   this week was very tough. i have 3 test at the beginning of week, that mean i can't focus on only one course, i have to spend my time on 3 courses, and that was very rush to review 3 courses. After i done the test before CSC148, i was  felt tired to do the review of CSC148. Before the CSC148 test, i wake up at 8 and slept at 2 for 5 days, so i did the CSC148 every bad.

week 4

               This is a busy week to me. I have 2 assignments due in this week, 3 quizzes and 3 term-tests in week 5. The A1 is harder then what we thought, we don’t have any idea about what to do when our group readied the A1 instruction in first time. We spend a lot of time to read the instruction over and over, and taking the note, cause we realized that A1 is not like CSC108's assignment which given us the start codes already, we only need to following the start code and docstring to complete the program, for A1, everything we have to create by ourselves, and we need to plan and completed our program.

            We had learned recursion that I am very confusing in this week. When I ready the slice which prof provide and it says that ‘recursion is pretty useful in our daily life and it’s our friend.’ I felt interesting and confident to master it and let it be my friend.

            For the term-test, I felt nervous and not confident, cause it’s my first-term test in CSC148. I have no idea about what will test about. But I will try my best to overcome this challenge.

Why geek should write

      This is my first slog in CSC148, I know that CSC148 is much harder than CSC108. But I was ready to take the challenge since I decided to take the course. 

     

      When I see the topic, the first word came up to my mind and associate with the title is communication. Programming empowers us to communicate with software. Geeks use their programming skills to make our life convenient and accurate. Moreover writing is the origin of everything. 

       We use written communication more regularly than ever and written is an essential skill in our daily life. Writing helps geek move easily among fact, inferences, and opinion without getting confused. And most important one is to enable geek's thoughts visible. Programming is not only about type the keyboard, it also require ideas and plans. Writing skills is the key for geeks to record ideas and make the plan. Then geeks are able to organize the data and program step by step without losing any valuable ideas. Writing is not only helps geeks to refine the idea but also help them to communicate with users.
